Would you believe me if I told you, you could be sitting between 400 toilet seats worth of microbes while you’re behind your desk? Well, unfortunately most of you are sitting between the 400 toilet seats. If you’d have told me this a week ago, I would have laughed right in your face and told you to get the out of here. But unfortunately I’ve done my research and the results are not pretty.

I the last week or so, I’ve been reading my eyes off my skull, only to find interesting post ideas. When I came across a couple articles talking about how dirty your desk could be, I thought it was time for me to do a post about it. So here we are.
The microbes on your desk come from all over the place. Think of stuff such as food spills, drink spills, friend and family using your desk, kids that play around your desk and so on. The amount of microbes on your desk can easily make you and anyone who’s using your desk sick.
“Holy cow, how can I get rid of all of it” you say? Well, unless your desk is in the middle of an operating room, it’s impossible to get rid of all the microbes. But it’s really easy to get rid of up to 99% of the microbes by cleaning your desk regularly with disinfecting wipes. If you’re not used to using disinfecting wipes, you can wash your hands regularly and clean your desk with alcoholic wipes. This too will reduce the amount of microbes drastically.
Did you ever think it could be this bad around the desk?
